St Fagans How buildings have changed throughout the years?

This year whilst studying scientific and creative learning we went to St Fagans and the National Museum in Cardiff to produce a podcast to show how an out of classroom environment can develop an innovative scientific idea. We decided to film our podcast to show what knowledge we had of it. The podcast would reflect on one of our visits which we have decided to talk about St Fagans.
Myself and Charlotte met up on many occasions to discuss what we will be aiming to achieve. When visiting St Fagans we took a walk through the five rows of houses. Whilst there we seen that through the years the building had changed, the main building features that had changed were the roofs, technology and the items of furniture. At the first house when looking at the ceiling we found that it was made from lath and Plaster, when looking at the ceilings now in the modern days  When researching St Fagans we found that 'All these structures were essentially rural. Indeed, the first nineteen buildings to be re-erected at the Museum can be classed as rural buildings, the only 'borderline' case being the cockpit from the small market town of Denbigh, which in any case illustrated a recreational activity that was to be found as much in the countryside as in the villages and towns. Even the toll-house, from Penparcau on the southern outskirts of Aberystwyth, was typical of scores of similar structures nearly all of which were located in the countryside.'

Whilst talking to one of the sites workers about the ceiling materials this made us realise what we would be basing our work upon. In our interview we have decided to place our work on the materials of ceilings from then and now.
We have created a voice recording which included information about Ceilings, Walls, Flooring, Central heating, and roofs. Please find attached a copy of our voice recording on the USB.
